The Redmi K80 Pro is one of the last Snapdragon 8 Ultimate Edition phones yet to be released this year. Xiaomi executive Wang Teng mentioned they will hold a livestream on November 7th, during which they’ll reveal some details about the Redmi K80 series, so fans should stay tuned.
According to current leaks, the Redmi K80 series will include only a standard version and a Pro version. The “E” version is rumored to be replaced by the Turbo series, which makes sense since the Turbo series has developed its own identity, overlapping with the “E” model’s position.
Display
The Redmi K80 series will continue to feature a 2K flat display across all models, with upgraded materials from C8 to C9, providing better visuals and improved power efficiency. Additionally, Dragontrail Glass protection will be used (not the latest version), and the series will include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
Battery
All models will have large battery capacities, with wireless charging making a return. The K80 Pro will reportedly have a 6000mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The standard version may have an even larger battery, supporting 90W wired and 30W wireless charging.

A recent image posted by a Xiaomi executive revealed the phone’s back, showing a circular camera deco in the top left corner, closely resembling earlier render leaks and slightly similar to the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro design.
