Recently, Honor announced that it will hold the Magic7 RSR Porsche Design and Imaging Technology launch event on December 23 at 2:00 PM in Beijing. The brand teased the RSR version as the “king edition” of the Magic7 series, boasting the industry’s first 100x AI Super Telephoto Imaging technology for “crystal clarity at any distance.” More details about this ultra-flagship device have now surfaced.
Design
The Honor Magic7 RSR Porsche Design is already available for pre-order on Honor’s official store. According to the website, the phone features a centered dual-punch-hole display with a subtly curved four-edge design. The back cover is available in two colors: Provence Purple and Onyx Gray. Honor previously highlighted its supercar-inspired metallic finish, incorporating Porsche’s iconic hexagonal camera module and classic matrix camera arrangement, along with the Porsche ridge-line design integrated into the back.
Display
According to leaks from @Digital Chat Station, the Honor Magic7 RSR Porsche Design features a 6.8-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO display with a resolution of 2800×1280. The screen supports 4320Hz PWM dimming and circular polarization eye protection. While no mention of dual-layer OLED is made, the screen glass incorporates silicon nitride for added durability and supports 3D facial recognition.
Camera System
In terms of imaging capabilities, the Magic7 RSR is rumored to feature a triple-camera setup:
- 50MP Ultra-Large Variable Aperture Main Camera: OV50K sensor, 1/1.3″, F1.2-F2.0
- 50MP Ultra-Wide Macro Lens
- 200MP Periscope Telephoto Lens: 1/1.4″, OIS, f/1.88 (equivalent aperture f/7.1), supports 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom
The system also includes a floating lens group (1G+5P), dual electromagnetic motors, ALC coating, 1200 “dTOF” focus module, and a flicker sensor.
