On December 26, Audi officially began the pre-sale of the RS6 Avant GT, with only 66 units available for the Chinese market. The new car is inspired by the legendary Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO racing car, featuring a classic racing livery and incorporating many carbon fiber exterior components.
Exterior: The front of the car is equipped with a black one-piece grille design and a front splitter to enhance aerodynamics. Additionally, the front hood, fenders, and other areas use full carbon fiber material, reducing the car’s weight by 50 kg.
The side of the vehicle features a unique GT badge and exclusive racing stripes, making it highly recognizable. The new car also comes with 22-inch six-spoke wheels, paired with Continental “Sport Contact 7” 285/30 R22 tires, and large-caliper brakes to highlight its sporty attributes.
Interior: The interior predominantly features black tones, with red stitching and copper accents. The dashboard is also engraved with the limited edition’s serial number. As a high-performance limited edition model, the interior is heavily wrapped in Alcantara fabric, and carbon fiber bucket seats are also included.
Performance: The Audi RS6 Avant GT is powered by a 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine, producing a maximum output of 463 kW and a peak torque of 850 Nm. It is paired with an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission, enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.3 seconds. Additionally, the car’s central and rear axles have been specially tuned to further enhance handling performance.
