On December 16, Honor officially launched the new V-series tablet, Honor Tablet V9. Positioned as a new benchmark for AI learning tablets, it debuts with the Honor MagicOS 9.0 system, featuring advanced AI Note and AI Document capabilities, a lightweight 10,100mAh long-lasting battery, a 144Hz Oasis Eye-Care Display, and leading hardware and software configurations. With a starting price of 1999 yuan during the initial sales period, the tablet will officially go on sale on December 24. Additionally, Honor’s new GT series performance smartphones were unveiled at the launch event.
Ultra-light, Long Battery Life, and High Durability: Breaking the Industry “Impossible Triangle”
The Honor Tablet V9 features a full-metal unibody design and comes in three dopamine-inspired traditional Chinese color options: Misty Purple, Jade Snow, and Mountain Grey. Weighing only 475g and measuring 6.1mm thick, it is one of the thinnest and lightest tablets in its category, making it highly portable for university students attending daily classes.
Despite its lightweight design, the device doesn’t compromise on battery life or durability. Powered by a 10,100mAh large battery and further optimized with Honor OS Turbo, it offers over 13 hours of video playback or reading, 80 days of standby time, and 620 days of battery conservation mode.
For durability, the tablet adopts the “Tiangong Rock Solid Design,” with a bending resistance of 10kg/mm and a torsional resistance of 120N·m/rad. It is the first tablet to receive the SGS Gold Star Five-Star High Strength Certification from Switzerland, providing reliable protection for users.

AI Notes cover both text and handwriting scenarios. Text notes include real-time transcription for multiple speakers, translations, automatic formatting, and AI-generated covers that summarize key points for easy navigation. Handwriting notes support the recognition of text, formulas, and diagrams, with a variety of brush tools available. For academic reading, the tablet introduces Honor AI Documents, which supports formats like CAD, XMIND, EPUB, and CAJ without needing to switch apps. It includes functions for automatic formatting, summarizing, idea extraction, mind map generation, and advanced editing capabilities like rewriting and expansion. AI Document comparison and Q&A features further enhance research efficiency.
Free Window enables PC-like multitasking with adjustable window sizes and layouts. Users can open multiple app windows on one screen and switch between task groups easily, improving productivity.

The 11.5-inch Oasis Eye-Care Display boasts a 2.8K resolution, 1.07 billion colors, and variable refresh rates from 30Hz to 144Hz. Certified by IMAX Enhanced and HDR Vivid, it offers vivid visuals.The display incorporates eye-care technologies like natural light simulation, defocus adjustments, and sleep-assist modes to reduce eye strain. Hardware-level low blue light and DC dimming ensure comprehensive eye protection. A matte version of the display, featuring AG glass etching, eliminates 98% of environmental glare and provides a paper-like writing experience.The tablet has earned four major eye-care certifications, including TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free certifications, setting a new standard for eye-care tablets.

The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 flagship AI chip, offering a 20% improvement in CPU performance and 60% in GPU performance. Purchases during the launch period include a free battery replacement within two years if the capacity falls below 80%.
