Motorola is preparing to give its flagship flip-style foldable phone, the Moto Razr Plus, a major upgrade in 2025. The latest information suggests that this new model may be equipped with a top-tier Qualcomm mobile platform, marking a stark contrast to previous generations, which did not feature high-end processors.

According to the latest benchmark data on Geekbench, a device named “Motorola Razr Ultra” has surfaced, showcasing impressive CPU performance. The device is equipped with an octa-core CPU, with two cores clocked at up to 4.32GHz and the other six cores at 3.53GHz. These specifications point to Qualcomm’s most powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite. Additionally, the benchmark information indicates that at least one version will come with 12GB of RAM.

It is worth noting that the “Ultra” suffix has been used in the past for the Motorola Razr series in markets outside the United States to emphasize its high-end positioning. If Motorola continues to follow last year’s naming convention, the 2025 Razr Plus may be referred to as the Razr 60 Ultra in Europe, Asia, and other regions.

Regarding the release date, a recent certification from the Indian Standard Authorization Agency suggests that the new Razr Plus may arrive earlier than the usual June release. However, the specific date remains unknown. Meanwhile, due to the lack of other leaks, more details about the new Razr Plus remain a mystery.
